We believe that the five universal Human Values of Love, Peace, Truth, Right Conduct and Non-violence reside within each one of us in full potential, like a  seed under the ground waiting to sprout.
The challenge for the Toogoolawa teachers in particular is to create the ideal school environment for each Human Value to sprout and grow in every single one of the students.
To this end, the teachers and volunteers in the Toogoolawa School all strive to become ideal role models of good character – that is, to be living examples of what they desire the students to be. They are guided in this endeavour, not only by their own inclinations towards virtuous behavior, but also according to a Code of Ethics for Teachers which is based on the five Human Values.
Further, every attempt is made to integrate the five Human values into all aspects of the school curriculum. |
